Starting today, October 16th (yes, technically tomorrow but operations begin at dawn!), Honolulu's Skyline rail expands to 16 miles with 13 stations, including the brand new Daniel K. Inouye International Airport station at Lelepaua. This connects directly to Terminal 2 and International Parking via pedestrian walkways. The city is investing $1 million in a yearlong campaign to boost ridership, with a goal of 25,000 daily riders within a year. Full completion to Kakaʻako is still projected for 2030. More details
